PURPOSE:To form carbon material for a lithium secondary battery negative electrode rich in lithium dope quantity and high in initial charging/discharging efficiency. CONSTITUTION:Easy-graphitizing pitch coke is adopted as raw material, and its organization is refined to increase an initial charging/discharging efficiency. A thermal expansion coefficient is introduced as an index expressing the degree of organization refining, parameter by X-ray refraction is used as an index expressing a graphitizing degree in accordance with capacity, and these two kinds of parameter are used to prescribe the optimization of a pitch coke. Consequently, the high energy densification of a lithium secondary battery, based on the improvement of a negative electrode characteristic such as reducing lithium loss and high capacity, can be realized while keeping cycle stability by using the pitch coak for a negative electrode. |
