PURPOSE:To provide a method to perform the updating and the restoration of the failed updating by the software for a subject file to which an access is rejected by an OS(operating system). CONSTITUTION:The OSs of the same type are stored in the 1st and 2nd storage areas, and the OS of the working 1st storage area is finished (S201). Then the OS of the 2nd storage area is started in place of the 1st storage area (S202). The system files stored in the 1st storage area are excluded out of the access lock subjects, and these excluded files are switched to the prepared replacement files by the file replacement function of the 2nd OS (S204). If these file replacement jobs fail by some reason, a back-up file is immediately used for restoration of the original file (S209). |
