<p>PURPOSE:To improve the operability by eliminating the mode switching operation of a computer system which has a screen operation mode and a menu display body selection mode. CONSTITUTION:This computer system is equipped with a display device 12 and a computer 11 including a normal processing means 24 and a menu selecting process means 25, and includes a coordinate detection device 17 which is equipped with a menu display means 16 and has a coordinate detectable area and detects and outputs pieces of coordinate information indicated by two position indicators 18 and 19 to the computer at the same time, one position indicator 18 which is operated on the menu display means and dedicated to menu content selection, and a position indicator discriminating means which discriminates the kind of a position indicator, and when the position indicator discriminating means decides that the position indicator which is operated is the indicator dedicated to menu content selection, the coordinate information is sent out to the menu selecting process means, but when not, the coordinate information is sent out to the normal processing means 24.</p> |
