The system uses a perforator (5) that is affixed to the screw-fitted cover (3) so as to tear the sealing strip (1) as the cover is unscrewed. Once the cover is removed, the sealing strip can be lifted with the fingers.The perforator may be formed as a mitred punch that passes through a groove (4) formed in the screw-fitted cover, just as far as the sealing strip. The mitred punch may be arranged as a hinged tab affixed to the cover.
