<p>PURPOSE:To provide a speech recognition device in which the number of switches is reduced by commonly using the switches. CONSTITUTION:The device is provided with a speech recognition instructing switch 5 which instructs speech recognition, an on-period discriminating section 47 which discriminates whether the on-period of the switch 5 is more than a prescribed period or not and a power supply circuit control section 48 which drives a power supply circuit 6 in synchronism with the voice recognition instruction when the on-period of the switch 5 is discriminated to be less than the prescribed period, recognizes the inputted voice after the driving of the circuit 6 and when the speech recognition instruction period is discriminated to be larger than the prescribed period, the driving of the circuit 6 is stopped. Thus, the driving and the stopping of the driving of the circuit 6 are controlled by the length of the on-period of the switch 5.</p> |
