PURPOSE:To provide the method for controlling a copying machine by which operability is improved to prevent erroneous copying at the time of an automatic paper selection mode. CONSTITUTION:In the controlling method of the copying machine which is provided with plural paper feeding entrances and copies an original at specified magnification on paper; in the case that suitable paper size (matched size) is decided from a detected original size and the set magnification (406) and the matched size is prepared as a cassette size (407;YES), the paper feeding entrance of the matched size is selected (409-411), and in the case that the paper is not set at the selected paper feeding entrance (412;YES), a mode is made to be in a copying inhibited state (417) and also the inhibited state is released when the paper is set at the paper feeding entrance. |
