PURPOSE:To provide a color filter flattening film excellent in various performances such as adhesion to a board, a color filter protective film excellent in heat resistance or the like and these compositions. CONSTITUTION:A color filter flattening film contains (i) alkali soluble resin, a crosslinking agent and organic solvent, and is obtained by performing ultraviolet or far ultraviolet lithography on a negative or positive type resist composition to which a light acid generating agent or a dissolution checking agent is added besides compositions of (i), and in a protective film where a colored filter element is arranged on a support body (iii) and a coat of alkali soluble resin is further arranged on it, the coat is obtained by performing ultraviolet or far ultraviolet lithography on a negative or positive type resist composition to which a light acid generating agent or a dissolution checking agent is added besides the compositions of (i).
