PURPOSE:To provide a document generation device which can generate a flexible document by simultaneously extracting documents constituting the plural tree structures of different forms from a document constituting a network structure such as a hyper text. CONSTITUTION:A document structure management means 104 managing a node and a link, a tree structure extraction means 106 extracting the documents constituting the tree structures from the hyper text by following the link with the node that a user designates as a start and a reference unit information setting means 105 setting link information for controlling the extraction of the tree structures in the link are provided. Link information is that controlling the extraction of the tree structures. The document structure management means 104 manages plural pieces of link information in accordance with the number of the tree structures extracted from the hyper text and in accordance with the link. The tree structure extraction means 106 uses the relation of link information and extracts the tree structures. Thus, the documents constituting the plural tree structures in the different forms can simultaneously be extracted from the document constituting the network structure such as the hypertext. |
