PURPOSE:To provide an automatic certificate issuing machine capable of saving the paper and shortening the time required for the issue of a certificate even when the certificate is sent superposing onto another sheet of paper by checking the superposition of a sheet prepared by a certificate preparing means onto another sheet of paper, separating superposed sheets from each other, issuing only the printed sheet as the certificate, and discarding only the blank sheet in the case of acquiring the certificate. CONSTITUTION:Data or the like for a certificate to be used are inputted through a touch panel 4 and the certificate is prepared by a laser printer 11 based upon the data and issued by a paper ejecting unit 53. At the time of detecting the superposed state of sheets of paper in a carrying route for carrying the prepared certificate to the unit 53, the superposed sheets are separated from each other by a superposed paper separating unit 80 to release the superposed state. |
