PURPOSE:To easily and rapidly form large endless patterns from small blank images. CONSTITUTION:The blank images to be used for forming the endless patterns, the form of repeating of the blank images, whether rotational processing is to be executed or not, whether mirror processing is to be executed or not, which processing is executed first in the case of execution of the rotational processing and the mirror processing and the formation of a mask set. An image processing means 1 determines the number of blocks in a longitudinal direction and transverse direction relating to the formation on the endless patterns and automatically determines at which blocks the blank images are to be arranged and to which blocks the rotational processing and mirror processing are to be executed by random numbers. The information thereon is written into an endless pattern forming file. The patterns of the blank images are subjected to the prescribed processing, are trimmed by a mask, are arranged in the respective blocks and are displayed on a monitor 3. |
