<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the content of a demonstration mode from being recorded accidentally by canceling a function reproducing program mode when the loading of a recording medium is detected while the function reproducing program mode is being executed. CONSTITUTION:This recorder is equipped with a detecting means 19 which detects the loading of a recordable recording medium 23 on a recording medium loading part, and control means 8, 12 and 13 which performs control to cancel the function reproducing program mode when the detecting means 19 detects the loading of the recording medium 23 while the function reproducing program mode is being executed. When the loading of the recording medium 23 on the recording medium loading part is detected by the detecting means 19 while the function reproducing program mode is being executed, the function reproducing program mode is canceled by the control of the control means 8, 12 and 13. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the content of the demonstration mode from being recorded accidentally by loading the recordable recording medium 23 while the function reproducing program mode is being executed.</p> |
