PURPOSE:To execute the knowledge processing even in the case that a surname and a name are not written dividedly in a full name entry column. CONSTITUTION:When a surname and a name are judged not to be written dividedly by a block number judging part 4, a data retrieving part 6 retrieves a data base on the basis of the read-out result of the first block of phonetic KANA(Japanese syllabary), and obtains a KANJI(Chinese character) word corresponding to the read-out result of phonetic KANA. The data retriving part 6 compares the retrived KANJI word with the read-out result of KANJI, and selects the KANJI word of the surname on the basis of the distance value of the read-out result of KANJI obtained by this comparison. When the KANJI word of the surname is determined, a full name word dividing part 7 divides the read-out result of KANJI into the read-out result of KANJI of the surname and the read-out result of KANJI of the name on the basis of the KANJI word of that surname, and outputs the divided read-out result of KANJI of the name to the data retrieving part 6, and executes the knowledge processing of the name. |
