<p>PURPOSE:To provide a color filter excellent in various performances such as adhesion to a board and the concentration of a color, and a manufacturing method thereof. CONSTITUTION:(1) In a color filter, a filter element is composed of a coat of a resist material containing pigment soluble in both organic solvent and an alkaline developer and alkali soluble resin, and when a hydrophobic degree of a board is expressed by a contact angle when a microscopic waterdrop is dropped on a board surface, the contact angle is not less than 50 deg.. (2) In a color filter manufacturing method, a colored filter element is provided on a hydrophobic board, and when a hudrophobic degree of the board is expressed by a contact angle when a microscopic waterdrop is dropped on a board surface, the contact angle is not less than 50 deg., by the color filter manufacturing method or the like, a sticking layer of a positive type composition whose filter element contains pigment soluble in both organic solvent and an alkaline developer, alkali soluble resin and a dissolution checking agent as essential components, is obtained by performing ultraviolet or or far ultraviolet lithography.</p> |
