PURPOSE:To efficiently execute the enlargement/reduction work of a ruled line frame with a simple operation by additionally displaying ruled lines corresponding to recognized repetitive units on a display means when a ruled line enlargement command is inputted. CONSTITUTION:RAM2 storing various data such as document data where characters and marks consist of control codes and ROM3 storing various data such as a control program and a KANA (Japanese syllabary) KANJI (Chinese character) conversion dictionary are respectively connected to CPU1. When plural character strings or the ruled lines are displayed on the display means 5, the repetitive units of character groups or ruled line groups, which are repetitively displayed, are recognized by comparing respective character strings or ruled lines data. When the ruled line enlargement command is inputted, the ruled lines corresponding to the recognized repetitive units are additionally displayed on the display means 5. |
