PURPOSE:To automaticallty judge whether or not a transaction with a customer is settled, to reduce burden on clerk and to improve working efficiency by reading out unit price data corresponding to an input commodity code from a commodity file and comparing the unit price data with estimated data. CONSTITUTION:The estimated data of each transaction are previously inputted to an estimated data input means. When a commodity code of a commodity purchased by a customer is inputted from a commodity code input means 1, corresponding unit price data are read out from a commodity file 6 and the unit price data are compared with the estimated data stored in the estimated data storage means. When the estimated data exceed the unit price data, the sales registration processing of the commodity purchased by the customer is executed, an amount obtained by subtracting the unit price data from the estimated data is stored in the estimated data storage means as new estimated data. When the estimated data are less than the unit price data, sales registration processing is inhibited. |
