PURPOSE:To avoid the complicated assembly of connectors and cables by arranging a vehicle side coil at the mounting position of an illumination lamp for key ring provided on the outer periphery of a key cylinder in order to illuminate the position of the key cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A coil 23 on vehicle side inputs a code signal output from a transmission circuit into a code identification circuit on vehicle side through a connector 25. Also it is identified on a vehicle by the code identification circuit beforehand whether or not the input code signal is identical to a specified code data. When it is identical, engine start is permitted. In this case, the coil 23 on vehicle side is fitted closely, in place of an illumination lamp, at a mounting position 24 for illumination lamp used for illuminating the surrounding of a key cylinder 21. Then an exclusive small mounting hole to enable the normal mounting of the illumination lamp and also enable the setting of the vehicle side coil 23 is provided in the other part of a key ring 22. |
