PURPOSE:To provide a voice interactive information retrieving device recognizing user's free voice speaking so as to response while retrieving information. CONSTITUTION:The device uses a voice input device 101 converting the user's speaking into an electric signal, a voice recognizing device 102 converting the output into a character string and outputting it and a speaking contents analyzing device 103 converting the contents of each speaking of a speaking recognizing candidate into a set of attribute and value. The device uses, as an internal storage system, an object information storage device 106 storing information of the attribute and the value, an interactive procedure storage device 105 storing information on the procedure of a speaking with the user and an interactive history storage device 104 storing information on a speaking made with a main device to the time just before the user begins the speaking. The device uses, as an output system, a voice synthesizer 108 converting the character string into the electric signal of voice and a voice output device 109 sending the output to the ears of the user. A response retrieving device 107 refers to an input system and the internal storage system, selects the speaking recognizing candidate which keeps the consistency of the conversation between the user and the main device and outputs a responsing sentence to the output system. |
