The device has a chamber (8) with a non-return valve (9) which is placed between the liner (7) and the wall (1) and the pipes (5) which join the plug (2) in the base of the pool to the pumping system. There is a provisional method of sealing the plug (2) so that the seal leads to the aspiration of any water through the valve chamber (8, 9) and the piping (5). The valve chamber (8, 9) is placed in an area (10) which fits onto the piping (5) which joins the plug (2) the pumping system (6). Alternatively the valve chamber can be integrated in the plug (2). The chamber (8) has an upper, obturating seating (11) which is turned towards the space between the liner (7) and the wall (1). There is a device (12) which prevents the lower exit pipe of the chamber from being blocked. The valve consists of a floating ball (9) placed in the chamber (8) and there is a grid (13) at the exit from the chamber on the liner side. When the plug (2) is sealed with a sheet of plastics, for example, the reduction of pressure in the pipes (5) allows the valve (9) to become detached from its seating (11). It then forms a link between the pipes (5) and the pools of water between the liner and the wall. The water can then be pumped out by the pools pumping system.
