PURPOSE:To provide a radiant heating furnace in which the temperature distribution can be made uniform. CONSTITUTION:A radiant plate 4 made of Si-SiC sintered material, etc., and continued in a longitudinal direction is installed on an inner surface of a furnace body 1, and on the rear side is formed a space 5 in which combustion exhaust gas flows. Burners 7 and heat storage units 8 which are alternately burned are provided in the spaces 5. Heat is applied from the gas to the units B to preheat combustion air. The plate 4 is heated by the gas flowing in the spaces 5 to uniformly heat a work. |
