<p>PURPOSE: To disclose a method for judging a rank of ambiguity related to the distance of radar echo. CONSTITUTION: In the sequence composed of a specific number N of recurrences, P echoes of a first recurrence is retrogressively predicted on the basis of received Q echoes of the final recurrences in a first step 31, echoes actually received by the P first recurrence is compared with the predicted echo in a second step 32, and a rank of the ambiguity of the distance which is an integer higher than the maximum rank of the first recurrence, and which is closest to the maximum rank, is judged in a third step 33. The sum of the numbers P and Q is not more than the number N, and preferably be equal to the number N.</p> |
