PURPOSE:To prevent an inverter circuit from destruction and a minor load(s) from being heated and provide possibility of such a cooking operation as shaking a deep pan or the like by furnishing two minor load sensors to judge whether a load induction heated by a heating coil is proper at two different levels, connecting the sensors with an oscillator circuit, and thereby controlling the oscillating operation. CONSTITUTION:When a knife, fork, etc., is heated, the first and the second minor load sensor 7, 8 both judge that the load is improper to be heated, and an appropriate signal is sent to an oscillator circuit 6. The oscillator circuit 6 makes intermittent oscillation in conformity to the signal given by the second sensor 8 so that the knife or fork is prevented from being heated. If the load is shaked vigorously while the heating is conducted with oscillation frequency f1, the first sensor 7 judges that the load is improper at the time the distance between a frying pan and a heating coil 4 is (a) nun apart, and an appropriate signal is sent to the oscillator circuit 6. The circuit 6 raises the oscillation frequency to f2 to suppress generation of an overvoltage or overcurrent, in the inverter circuit. When the distance exceeds further the limitation, the second sensor 8 judges that the load is improper, and the oscillator circuit 6 makes intermitted oscillating operation. |
