VIBRATION CONTROL STRUCTURE IN SWASH TYPE COMPRESSOR

PURPOSE:To provide a swash type compressor for preventing oscillation and restraining power loss. CONSTITUTION:A rotary shaft 9 is supported by a front housing 5 and a rear housing 6 through a pair of tapered roller bearings 7 and 8. Thrust preload is given by a preload giving spring 33 at a rear end side of the rotary shaft 9 through a block plate 30 and the tapered roller bearing 8. A double faced piston 15A is slidably stored in cylinder bores 13A and 14A. Rotation of a cam plate 10 fixed in the rotary shaft 9 is converted into frontward and backward motion of the double faced piston 15A though shoes 16 and 17. Diameter of the cylinder bore 13A is adapted to be smaller than that of the cylinder bore 14A and a pressure area of a front side head 15a of the double faced piston 15A is smaller than that of a rear side head 15b.
