PURPOSE:To make images easily visible by rotation-displaying the respective images corresponding to an inclination against the horizontal surface in a horizontal scanning direction of an image pickup device at the time of picking up the images in the case of displaying the images of plural frames at a display device. CONSTITUTION:The compressed image data of the plural frames stored in a memory card 5 or an external storage device 7 are expanded by a compression/expansion circuit 8 and stored in a memory 9 for compression/ expansion. The image data stored in the memory 9 for compression/expansion are read by a thinning/rotation circuit 10 and a thinning processing, a moving processing to a display position and a rotation processing are performed. Then, after the processings, the image data are stored in the memory 11 for display. The display device 13 displays the image data stored in the memory 11 for display under the control of a display control circuit 12. |
