PURPOSE:To inhibit the relaxation vibration of a revolving signal which revloves an optical revolving circuit. CONSTITUTION:When a revolving signal starts to revolve an optical revolving circuit 100, the intensity of the signal at this time is detected by a sample and hold circuit 13 and when the signal revolves a prescribed number of times, the intensity of the signal at this time is detected by a sample and hold circuit 14. These detected results are compared with each other by a comparison circuit 16 and are fed to an output control circuit 18. On the basis of this compared result in the circuit 18, the inclination of a saw wave, which is generated in a saw wave generating circuit 17, is controlled in accordance with a change in the intensity of the signal in a prescribed time. On the basis of this controlled saw wave, excitation light, which is fed to an optical amplifier 1, is controlled by an excitation light-source 3. |
