PURPOSE:To provide the generating method for the solid model which can securely generate a three-dimensional drawing by automatically preventing error occurrence even when a two-dimensional drawing which has a shifted in shape or is misdrawn is used. CONSTITUTION:This method includes a step S1 wherein a drawing is selected, a step S2 wherein a closed loop shape is extracted, a step S3 wherein a specific closed loop shape is extracted as a feature shape, a step S4 wherein data are generated by adding information including the position in the drawing to the feature shape to generate a two-dimensional feature table, a step S5 wherein the steps S1-S4 are performed as to all drawings, a step S6 wherein a combination of respective feature shapes is checked on the basis of position information in the two-dimensional feature table to generate a three-dimensional feature table showing the relation of respective constituent planes, a step S7 wherein plural relations are rearranged according to a rule when there are the relations for one feature shape, and a step S8 wherein the solid model is generated. |
