The long hose folds flat for storage and transport, and also telescopes in the lengthwise direction. The sleeve (2) fits closely inside one end (14) of the hose (1), from which it protrudes. It is of stiffer material than the hose and contains four or more lengthwise fold lines (21-24). Two first diametrally opposite first lines (21,24) allow it to be folded flat, while the two others (22,23) between them allow unfolding into a tubular shape by pressing on the first two. There can be two protruding flaps (25,26) joined by transverse fold lines (29,30) to the main portion of the sleeve, and unfolding outwards in the transverse direction. |
