In order to thermally and electrically insulate in a reliable manner a leadthrough (11, 11a) for high voltage supraconductive alternating current equipment, a lead through member (11) designed as an insulating body contains an inner lead provided with electroconductive coaxial insets (15). The insets (15) only have a low heat conductivity. At its ends, the inner lead (13) has connecting means (19, 29b) for connecting to an electric lead (3) that supplies and or carries away electric energy to and from the connection of a supraconductor (9, 9a). The leadthrough (11, 11a) may also be designed with two stages.
