The calendar (1) has at least one calendar sheet (2) on which is provided a date indication (3). The calendar takes the form of a pennant. The pennant is rectangular, triangular, parabolic or trapezoidal, or has the form of a rectangle with connecting triangle, trapezium or semi-circle. On at least one calendar sheet a pennant representation, pref. of a sports organisation, is provided.The pennant representation (7) is provided approximately centrally on the calendar sheet. The surface of the calendar sheet is several times larger than the surface of the pennant representation. The residual surface (8) is formed as an advertising surface which, preferably is of a different colour to the date indication and/or the pennant representation.
