The two body parts (2,3) to be connected are maintained at a relative distance by plastics spacers (22) in the area of the fastening clips (6). The sealing element for the gap (8) is formed by a plastics sealing bead (31).Each distance element is formed by an additional clip, which is fitted to the fastening clip. The additional clip consists of a heat-resistant plastics, e.g. polyamide etc.. It has a straight section, with a release device at one end, from which extends a narrow flexible bracket.
