Insulated food container

The insulated container, with a number of wells for food portions, has an elastic sealing (23) at the upper part (17). Its thickness is such that the height of the hollow zone defined by the upper and lower parts (17,2) is less than the height of the food carrier (12). The sealing is of soft silicone foam. The upper and lower parts (17,2) are of heat-resistant plastics and pref. expandable polypropylene and polyethylene. The food carrier (12) is of porcelain with a porcelain or plastics cover.
