<p>A sealing arrangement for a dispenser cartridge, containing a flowable product, comprising: a plug (1) for reception in the cartridge containing a flowable product, which plug has an air bleed passage (6) through which air trapped between the plug and the product may escape as the plug is inserted in the cartridge; and a plunger (2) carrying a stopper (3), the plunger being moveable relative to the plug between an exhaust position in which the plunger abuts the plug for urging the plug into the cartridge towards the product and a sealed position in which the stopper is sealingly engaged in the air bleed passage, the plunger moving from the exhaust position to the sealed position when the plug encounters resistance to movement from the flowable product in the cartridge after all the air has been displaced from between the plug and the product.</p> |
