<p>The present invention is directed to a drug containing non-reusable syringe having a hollow plunger rod provided with a rupture line for permanently detaching its rear part which can be engaged with the needle holder to perform a radial motion that breaks the needle which thereafter is received by a cavity in the rear part of the detached plunger rod. The rear part of the plunger rod can also be attached to the needle holder to protect the user from accidental neddle sticks.</p> |
