<p>Apparatus (10) for mixing a medium in a vessel (1) has structure for moving the vessel (1) in a path defining a cone. A clamp assembly includes jaws (12, 14) which releasably clamp the vessel (1) in the apparatus (10) and prevent rotation of the vessel (1) around its own axis. The structure includes a spherical bearing (29, 42) mounted at each end of the clamp assembly. A threaded shaft (16) for moving one of the jaws (14) is axially slidably received in one of the spherical bearings (29). The other spherical bearing (42) connects a shaft (40) extending from the other jaw (12) at an eccentric position relative to a rotary shaft (53) of a drive motor (54).</p> |
