The appts. to fill containers with loose material, especially pharmaceutical pills or tables from a tablet or pill press machine, has a head (10) on a cardanic suspension moving on two rotation points (M1, M2). A vertical distributor tube (11) extends downwards from it, to be moved on a circular path (29) through an external force acting on it. The longitudinal axis of the head (10) has a conical point, downwards, to move round. The distributor tube (11) is moved on an elliptical path (28) over the container. Pref. the cardanic suspension for the head (10) at the two rotation points (M1, M2) has two rotary axes at right angles to each other on the horizontal projection with a set gap (b) between them on the vertical projection, with one rotary axis rotating in a fixed position. A rod (9) is at the upper side of the head (10) with a rotating lever (18) at the upper end away from the head (10) so that, on rotation, the rod (9) and head (10) follow the path of a conical mantle with the point to the head (10).
