The system uses wideband transmission and reception devices (2, 3), for transmitting a radio interrogation signal received by an identification and/or sensor device (5), which provides a corresponding response signal. The identification and/or sensor device contains one or more resonators, e.g. acoustic surface wave resonators, for determining at least one interrogated parameter, with incorporated energy storage.
