The invention concernes a hydraulic brake system with slip control, with at least one wheel brake (4) connected to a main cylinder (9), with at least one pressure modulation valve (10, 11) which regulates the hydraulic fluid link between the main cylinder (9) and the wheel brake (4) and between the wheel brake (4) and an auxiliary pressure pump (2). The hydraulic fluid which can be drawn from the wheel brake (4) to the auxiliary pressure pump (2) can enter a reservoir (1) and from there can be pumped by a drive unit (17) of the auxiliary pressure pump (2) into the wheel brake circuit which connects the main cylinder (9) to the wheel brake (4). Also provided is an electronic control and regulating system (23) to monitor and actuate the pressure modulation valve (10, 11) and pump (2). A switching unit (20), which gauges how full the reservoir (1) is, can switch a drive (17) of the auxiliary pressure pump on or off, thereby reducing noise. |
