A device (10) for preventing unauthorised removal of apparatus coupled to the outlet of a cylinder of gas comprises a rigid housing (2) shaped such that, when fitted, the housing completely covers the coupling (26) between the outlet and the apparatus, the housing being lockable to the gas cylinder. Preferably the locking mechanism comprises a plate 12 which extends through slots (6, 8, Figure 1) in the housing and under the on/off valve of the cylinder to hold the housing in place. A padlock 30 may be inserted through a hole 16 in the plate to prevent removal. <IMAGE> |
