EXAMPLE:4,5,6,7-Tetrahydro-6-hydroxy-3-( beta-D-ribofuranosyl )-3H-imidazo[ 4,5-e ][1,4 ]diazepin-8-one. USE:A medicine and biological reagent, having immunological enhancing activity and antifungal activity and useful also as a synthetic intermediate for an antibiotic substance azepinomycin. PREPARATION:For example, a expressed compounded expressed by formula II is initially reacted and acylated with a reactive derivative of a lower alkylcarboxylic acid to provide a compound expressed by formula III, which is then reacted with a monohaloacetic acid ester in the presence of a dehydrohalogenating agent, such as silver oxide. The resultant compound expressed by formula IV is subsequently reacted with a metallic halide, such as diisobutylaluminum halide, to afford the aimed compound expressed by formula V.</p> |
