PURPOSE:To decelerate feeding of sheet material without causing fearing etc., by making a slotted hole in the center of a guideboard for mounting the sheet material, and sucking air through an air suction hole made through curved face of the guide when the sheet material is carried along the longitudinal direction of the slotted hole and folded between holding guide members while being decelerated. CONSTITUTION:A sheet material 12 is carried while being held between upper and lower carry belts 14, 15, and a folding blade 24 lowers immediately before the tip of the sheet material 12 contacts with a stopper board 27. The folding blade 24 folds the sheet material 12 along curved guide faces 18a, 19a of folding guide members 18, 19. At this time, carrying speed of sheet material 12 is decelerated because air suction holes 20a, 21a are closed by the sheet material 12 placed on the curved faces 18a, 19a of guide. Consequently, feeding speed of the sheet material 12 can be decelerated by such degree as causing no breaking when the sheet material 12 contacts with a stopper board 27. |
