An earthquake protection device for gas-insulated switchgear with at least one busbar (5) and at least two switching panels per frame has the frames (2) connected to the baseplate (4) so that at least one can slide at least in the direction of the busbar axis. This frame has a vibration damper for each sliding direction, working in the same plane as the frame. The damper axis extends through the centre of gravity of the switching panel, projected in the plane of the frame and is parallel to the busbar axis. The frame may instead have two dampers, in which case their axes pass on either side of the centre of gravity of the panel. <IMAGE> |
