PURPOSE:To produce the titled composition useful for the prevention of periodontosis, by using the whole cell, pilus or capsule of bacterial causing periodontosis as an antigen, immunizing a mammal with the antigen, using the resultant antigen as an active component and adding a synergist component thereto. CONSTITUTION:The cell, pilus or capsule of bacterial causing periodontosis (e.g. Gram-negative bacteria in oral cavity such as Bacteroides gingivalis, Gram- positive bacteria such as Actinomyces viscosus, etc.) is used as an antigen. The antibody produced by immunizing a mammal with the above antigen is compounded with one or more synergists selected from chlorhexidines, bacteriosin, bacteriolytic enzyme, protease and dextranase. The fixing of the periodontosis-causing bacteria in oral cavity can be prevented effectively by the compounded composition. Accordingly, the agent enables the effective prevention of periodontosis such as periodontotis and has high safety. Dose: preferably 0.0001-50g of the antibody per kg daily. |
