The invention relates to a built-in element (10) for heat-exchanger, mass-exchanger or bioreactor systems. Two fluid media can flow through the element (10) in counterflow or cross-counterflow. The element (10) consists of at least two walls (11, 12) fastened to one another and made from a thermoplastic synthetic film, which in each case are fashioned as corrugated surfaces. Fastening points are arranged in the crest and trough regions (13, 14) thereof, two adjacent walls (11, 12) being arranged relative to one another in such a way that the crest and trough regions (13, 14) enclose an angle beta of between 0 and 120 DEG . The built-in element (10) according to the invention is characterised in that when seen in the flow direction of one of the two fluid media it consists of element sections (101, 102, 103, 104) connected in modular fashion one behind another, it being the case that from one element section (101 to 104) to the immediately following element section (101 to 104) the flow ratio in each case varies between the two fluid media from counterflow into cross-counterflow or from cross-counterflow into counterflow.

|
