CONSTITUTION:When the operation lever 25 of a clutch member 29 for connecting or disconnecting an upper shaft 27 connected to a steering wheel and a lower shaft 28 connected to a steering wheel through a universal joint and a pinion is operated toward a disconnecting side, the clutch member 29 spline-couples extendingly with the spline shaft part 29a of the upper shaft 27 and the support cylinder 6d of a steering column 6a to turn the upper shaft 27 and the steering wheel into a mutually locked state.</p> |
