PURPOSE:To obtain a nano-crystal alloy having high specific initial permeability and low squareness ratio by forming the structure of an alloy, having a specific composition consisting of Fe, Co, Cu, Ti, Cr, C, etc., Si, and B, into a structure containing superfine crystalline grains of specific grain size. CONSTITUTION:The nano-crystal alloy, which is represented by the general formula (Fe1-aMa)100-x-y-z-b-c-dAxM'yM'zXbSicBd (where M means Co and Ni, A means Cu and Au, M' means Ti, V, Zr, Nb, Mo, Hf, Ta and W, M'' means Cr, Mn, Sn, Zn, Ag, In, platinum group elements, Mg, Ca, Sr, Y, rare earth elements, N, O and S, X means C, Ge, Ga, Al and P, and the symbols (a), (x), (y), (z), (b), (c) and (d) satisfy 0<=a<=0.1, 0.1<=x<=3, 1<=y<=10, 0<=z<=10, 0<=b<=10, 11<=c<=17, and 3<=d<=10, respectively) and in which crystalline grains of <=30nm average crystalline grain size comprise at least a part of structure, is obtained. This alloy has a specific initial permeability of >=70000, preferably >=100000, and a squareness ratio of <=30$, preferably <=20%. Further, it is preferable to use this alloy in the form of a thin sheet of <=15mum sheet thickness. |
