PURPOSE:To provide the operation control device of a multi-car elevator system which has an effect of restraining 'locking state' in which a car can not run under the influence of a preceding car in a multi-car elevator system adapted to operate plural cars in the same elevating path. CONSTITUTION:A traffic volume is measured by a use condition measuring part 4-1, the running speed is regulated to be lower than the rated speed by a speed setting part 4-2, and operation is conaucted by an operation control part 4-4, to shorten the locking interval, and improve the operation efficiency. The operation control part 4-4 estimates the position of the following car during stop at the time of stopping service to a user, detects the occurrence of locking state, and restrains the service stop in that case to restrain the occurrence of locking state. |
