The device using the subsidiary power supply device of the hydraulic actuator, has a hydraulic cylinder(50) for generating the subsidiary steering power from the hydraulic pump, hydraulic control valve(54) for proportionally controlling the hydraulic power fed from the cylinder(50) according to the relative movement between the valve body(58) and the casing(56) and a power reacting device(68) for variably suppressing the relative movement between the body(58) and casing(56) according to the vehicle speed. The power reacting device(68) comprises polygonal section(70) formed at the valve body, reacting chamber(72) between the casing(56) and the housing(44), vehicle speed pump(74) for supplying the pressure fluid, and a pair of sliders(80) having an axial groove(82) having a form engaged with the corner of the polygonal section.
