KNIFE OVER ROLL TYPE COATING METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR FABRIC

The method for coating a water proof resin performs the coating without jumping on the thick connection part of the base cloth sheets. The apparatus employing a back roller(3) having recesses(4) across the surface of the roller(3) presses the thick connection part(l) into a recess with the knife over the roller to pass the thick part(l) of the cloth without interruption for proceeding of the coating. The recesses(4) are provided preferably at the intervals of 90 or 120 degree angle with a timer to control the rotation of the roller.
