PURPOSE:To realize quickly safely changing of a new and old plate cylinders under the condition that the device has comparatively simple structure and excess stand-by space for its constitutional part is made unnecessary. CONSTITUTION:An old plate cylinder supported at the plate cylinder chucking position of a printing unit is placed on a second plate cylinder seating stand 40 and then transferred to a delivering position by turning second supporting arms 37 so as to be delivered to a first plate cylinder seating stand on a truck. Next, by turning first supporting arms 30a and 30b by about 90 deg., a first plate cylinder seating stand 31b, on which the old plate cylinder is placed, is moved downwards and, at the same time, a first plate cylinder seating stand 31a, on which a new plate cylinder 6 is placed, is transferred to the delivering position so as deliver the new plate cylinder to the second plate cylinder seating stand 40. Finally, by turning the second supporting arms 39, the new plate cylinder 6 is transferred to the plate cylinder chucking position. |
