<p>PURPOSE:To provide a carrying device of simple structure capable of automatically changing the clearance and/or position of a set of a plurality of works during the carrying operation. CONSTITUTION:While one set of two works W1, W2 are loaded on and supported by a pair of jig pallets 10A, 10B in the first prescribed position and with the clearance h1 of the first prescribed pitch, and carried from the position indicated by the solid line in the figure to the position indicated by the chain line in the figure through a ball screw shaft, the position of the works W1, W2 is changed to the second prescribed position by a roller 53 engaged with a guide member 51 of a position changing mechanism 50, and the clearance of the works W1, W2 is changed to the clearance h2 of the second prescribed pitch by a positioning and stopping mechanism 40 at the downstream end of carriage.</p> |
