PURPOSE:To almost uniformly maintain the temps. in the respective parts in a furnace by executing supply and discharge of air for combustion in the state of stopping the supply of fuel when the combustion of heat accumulative burners are off. CONSTITUTION:This batchwise heat treatment furnace 10 is provided with one set of the heat accumulative burners 11. The heat accumulative burners 11 have burners 11a, 11b and regenerators 12a, 12b on the right and left. The air for combustion and the fuel are alternately supplied to the burners 11a, 11b and are successively burned, and the discharge is alternately executed at the time of combustion of one set of the heat accumulative burners 11. Only the supply of the fuel is stopped and the supply of the air for combustion and the operation of the discharge are executed at the same cycle at the time of fire extinguishment. As a result, the local fall of the in-furnace temp. near the burners does not arise and the temps. in the furnace are made uniform. |
